Saturday 3rd February 2018 saw the transformation of Aston Wood Golf Club into a romantic setting for the first Aspire Sports Trust Valentine’s Ball.
Leading the evening was our master of ceremony John Pugh following a welcome by Mike Gowen, Chair of the Trust. Live music was provided by Random.
The event was attended by 135 guests and raised over £5000 for the charity. The most exciting part of the evening was the auction where guests were bidding for: hot tub hire, Land Rover Experience, Austin Martin Experience, four ball at the championship course at The Belfry and a Will Greenwood signed tracksuit. The star auction prize was the opportunity to bid for a yacht experience for 11 people in the Mediterranean.
The board of Trustees were overwhelmed by the support on the evening and from all our donors. We would like to thank everyone for their support and contribution.
We had a tremendous evening and a special thank you was expressed to Lydia Gowen who co-ordinated the event and helped to make it such a success. Also a big thank you to the staff of Aston Wood Golf Club for all their support and for providing such an excellent meal.
People are already asking about our next event and our next ball.
